WQKR 101.7 FM & 1270 AM is set to explore the region’s most chilling tales with the launch of its new show, Southern Ghost Stories, hosted by celebrated local author and folklorist Allen Sircy. The show will delve into the rich history of ghost stories, strange events, and local legends that haunt the United States.
Allen Sircy is a prolific author who has written over 40 books on folklore and ghost stories in the United States. He brings his decades of research and storytelling expertise to the airwaves, promising listeners a unique and captivating audio experience.
In addition to ghost stories, the show will feature tales of grave robbing, the bizarre science of galvanism, mysterious cryptids, compelling true crime, and other wild stories drawn from Sircy’s extensive body of work. From time to time, he will be joined by special guests from the paranormal community to share their own insights and experiences.
