Hotel Monteleone

In the late 19th century Antonio Monteleone opened a hotel in the French Quarter that quickly became the place to be. Literary giants such as William Faulkner and Tennessee Williams spent an extensive amount of time in the hotel. But the hotel isn’t just known for its history. Like most places in New Orleans, the hotel is believed to be extremely haunted. While there are numerous spirits in the old hotel the most notorious one is a little boy named Maurice who has been spotted on the fourteenth floor.
