Marilyn Monroe’s Ghost at the Roosevelt Hotel

Before becoming one of the most famous women in the world, Marilyn Monroe rented Suite 1200 at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California as she learned the ropes as a young model. The future iconic actress not only went on to shoot a sunscreen advertisement by the Tropicana Pool, but it鈥檚 believed that she also met her future husband Arthur Miller in the lobby.

Considering how happy Marilyn was at the Roosevelt, it鈥檚 no surprise to hear that many staff members believe that she鈥檚 still there.

In the 1980s a staff member was cleaning Marilyn鈥檚 old second story suite when she saw the reflection of a familiar blonde lady staring back at her. The young lady said hello and then turned around to greet the familiar looking guest, but when she looked around, no one was there! The employee screamed and quickly ran out of the room. She ran down to the lobby and quit on the spot! A few years later the mirror was moved to the main lobby by the elevators. Still, in its new location, some guests swear they see Marilyn from time to time.

In addition to the mirror, Marilyn has also been spotted out by the Tropicana pool where she shot an advertisement for sunscreen. Waitresses have claimed to see the iconic actress walking around the pool in an older style bathing suit. Anytime someone tries to approach the mysterious figure, she gradually fades away.
