Liberace and the King of Pop

While it’s been rumored that Liberace haunted his museum in Las Vegas, according to Michael Jackson, the over the top, flamboyant entertainer also appeared at the Neverland Ranch in Santa Ynez, California from time to time after his death.

The King of Pop was close friends with Liberace until his passing in 1987. After he died, Jackson would often close himself off in a small room filled with mirrors where he felt his presence and could hear Liberace’s voice. In fact, the world-renowned singer told friends that Liberace was “his guardian angel”.

According to Michael Jackson, Liberace even gave him permission to record one of his old signature tunes, “I’ll Be Seeing You.” Sadly, he passed away before he could honor his friend with the song. The old friends were reunited in the afterlife when Jackson died on June 25, 2009.
