Henry Flagler saw an opportunity to turn St. Augustine into a tourist destination and built the opulent 540 room Ponce De Leon Hotel in 1888. The building has since been turned into Flagler College but that hasn’t stopped the spirits of a bygone era from making their presence known. From a creepy tile by the main entrance to numerous ghost sightings in the old hotel Flagler College is thought to be one of the most haunted places in St. Augustine, Florida.
