Tennessee Ghost Stories: The Corn House

The old Corn House on Third Avenue in downtown Franklin, Tennessee is believed to be haunted by the spirit of a sad young lady. According to local lore, the woman called off her wedding on her wedding day. Today that decision still haunts her as she has been spotted roaming around the upstairs of the historic house in her wedding dress.

In addition to the apparition, those that work in the old home claim to hear footsteps and other strange noises on the second floor from time to time. Upon leaving employees always turn lights off in the building. However, sometimes when they get to their car, they notice that something has turned them back on.
