Tennessee Ghost Stories: Opryland Hotel

While the entire Opryland Hotel complex is said to be incredibly haunted, one of the most eeriest parts of the hotel is the Grand Nashville Lobby due to the murals of Nashville that adorn the walls.

99 characters ranging from children to adults were hand-painted by a local artist onto the walls of the lobby, some of which are the artist and his family. Despite who the characters are in the mural, those who work in the hotel claim that no matter where they are in the lobby, the men, women and children watch their every move. While working on the book Southern Ghost Stories: Opryland, one former employee told me she dreaded going into the lobby due little eyeballs that she claimed followed her no matter where she was in that part of the building.

If you’d like to learn more about the hauntings in and around Opryland, please check out the book Southern Ghost Stories: Opryland. It’s available at Amazon and is actually free to read if you have Kindle Unlimited.
